This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how users ("You", "Your") may cancel bookings or services made through the Nexby platform and request refunds. Final refund decisions may depend on the policies of individual service providers and Nexby’s discretion where applicable.
Nexby acts as a facilitator between users and service providers. Refund decisions are primarily governed by the respective service provider’s policies, and Nexby may assist in processing refunds where applicable.
1. Booking Cancellation by User
- Cancellations made by the user are governed by the respective service provider's cancellation terms.
- Cancellation eligibility and timelines are subject to the respective service provider’s policy and the terms displayed at the time of booking.
- Some bookings may be non-refundable or involve cancellation charges.
- Before the service start date: A full or partial refund may be provided, depending on the provider's terms.
- After the service start date: No refund is usually provided unless explicitly stated by the service provider.
- Specific cancellation and refund terms applicable to each booking will be displayed at the time of booking and shall take precedence over this general policy.
- Nexby is not responsible for service quality, fulfillment, or disputes arising from services provided by third-party service providers.
2. Booking Cancellation by Service Provider
- If a service provider cancels a confirmed booking, users are generally eligible for a full refund of the amount paid, subject to successful payment settlement.
- Cancellation will be considered within 1 working day from the date of payment.
- Nexby is not liable for any indirect loss or inconvenience caused due to such cancellations.
3. Refund Process & Timelines
- Approved refunds will be initiated and credited within 7–10 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be processed only to the original payment method used during booking, unless otherwise required by applicable regulations.
- Any bank or payment gateway delays are beyond Nexby’s responsibility.
- Where GST applies, it will be invoiced separately.
- In case of failed or incomplete transactions, refunds (if any) will be processed after verification with the payment gateway and may take additional time.
- In case of payment gateway-based bookings, refund will follow verification and settlement rules, minus applicable charges.
4. Non-Refundable Bookings
- Certain services (e.g., flash deals, promo codes, giveaways) are explicitly non-refundable.
- Such details will be clearly shown during booking or purchase.
5. Force Majeure
- Nexby shall not be liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, government action, etc.).
- Refunds in such cases will be subject to the respective service provider’s policy and applicable circumstances.
6. Deductions & Charges
Refunds, when issued, may be subject to deductions, such as:
- Payment gateway or transaction fees
- Platform convenience or processing charges
- Irrecoverable third-party costs
7. No-Show Policy
If a user fails to attend a scheduled service without canceling in advance, no refund will be provided.
8. Modifications to Bookings
- Rescheduling may be allowed, based on availability and the provider’s policy.
- Additional charges may apply for changes.
9. Invoicing & GST
- GST invoices will be issued where applicable.
- In refund cases, applicable taxes will be adjusted in line with Indian tax law.
