This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how users ("You", "Your") may cancel bookings or services made through the Nexby platform and request refunds. Final refund decisions may depend on the policies of individual service providers and Nexby’s discretion where applicable.
1. Booking Cancellation by User
- Cancellations made by the user are governed by the respective service provider's cancellation terms.
- Cancellation will be considered within 1 working days from the date of payment.
- Some bookings may be non-refundable or involve cancellation charges.
- Before the service start date: A full or partial refund may be provided, depending on the provider's terms.
- After the service start date: No refund is usually provided unless explicitly stated by the service provider.
2. Booking Cancellation by Service Provider
- If a service provider cancels a confirmed booking, users are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation will be considered within 1 working days from the date of payment.
- Nexby is not liable for any indirect loss or inconvenience caused due to such cancellations.
3. Refund Process & Timelines
- Approved refunds will be initiated and credited within 7–10 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
- Any bank or payment gateway delays are beyond Nexby’s responsibility.
- Where GST applies, it will be invoiced separately.
- In case of payment gateway-based bookings, refund will follow verification and settlement rules, minus applicable charges.
4. Refunds for Service Provider Subscription Plans
- Subscription or promotional plans purchased by service providers (hotels, restaurants, activity hosts, etc.) are non-refundable once activated or used in any form (e.g., listing published, shoutout delivered, visibility applied).
- No refund will be issued for mid-term cancellation or dissatisfaction after plan activation.
- Service providers are encouraged to review the plan benefits, duration, and pricing before purchase.
- Exceptions, if any, will be considered only under technical failure or non-delivery of paid features, and subject to Nexby’s verification and discretion.
5. Non-Refundable Bookings
- Certain services (e.g., flash deals, promo codes, giveaways) are explicitly non-refundable.
- Such details will be clearly shown during booking or purchase.
6. Force Majeure
- Nexby shall not be liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, government action, etc.).
- Refunds in such cases are at the sole discretion of Nexby and/or the service provider.
7. Deductions & Charges
Refunds, when issued, may be subject to deductions, such as:
- Payment gateway or transaction fees
- Platform convenience or processing charges
- Irrecoverable third-party costs
8. No-Show Policy
If a user fails to attend a scheduled service without canceling in advance, no refund will be provided.
9. Modifications to Bookings
- Rescheduling may be allowed, based on availability and the provider’s policy.
- Additional charges may apply for changes.
10. Invoicing & GST
- GST invoices will be issued where applicable.
- In refund cases, applicable taxes will be adjusted in line with Indian tax law.
